The QHS Blue Devils, like all athletic programs across the state of Illinois, are dealing with COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures on a daily basis.

It's just a part of our world now, and student-athletes are making adjustments and staying focused. That fact has Quincy High head football coach Rick Little feeling very positive as the Blue Devils Off-Season Conditioning Program rolls on.

Little, who is preparing for his 14th season at the helm of the QHS football program, stated earlier today about his players, "I'm proud to say this, I feel like there is almost this great resolve that's in them."

Little went on to add, "Like they're more motivated because you just don't know. You don't know when the last day could be, so certainly they've responded and are motivated to be out here and to work--so really proud of them that way, but yeah, very confusing and uncertain time!"

The Quincy Blue Devils are scheduled to open the 2020 season on August 28 against the Raiders of Quincy Notre Dame.
