Manhunt suspect located in northeast Missouri

PALMYRA, Mo. (WGEM) — Missouri State Highway Patrol said they have a suspect in custody after a manhunt in Ralls and Marion County.

On Twitter, troopers said the suspect was taken into custody at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday on Doyle Manufacturing property, north of Palmyra.

Troopers had assistance from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, off-duty Monroe County Deputy, and employees at Doyle Manufacturing.

Marion County sheriff Jimmy Shinn said the incident with the suspect began yesterday afternoon on Highway 36 in Ralls County and then led into the Palmyra area.

Police said the suspect hijacked one car and shot at another.
