We have an active weather pattern the majority of the week bringing daily rain and thunderstorm chances. Late this week and weekend the heat and humidity will ramp back up.

Today we have dealt with more cloud cover and a few rain showers. Highs today maxing out in the low to mid-80s. This evening most will remain rain-free, however, a stray shower or storm can't be ruled out. Otherwise, we will remain mostly cloudy with a low near 72.

Tuesday will be cloudy with thunderstorms. Storms will mainly impact the Tri-States during the morning and early afternoon. Highs tomorrow will near 85 by mid-day. The rain will help cool temperatures back into the 70s and low 80s.

An upper-level high-pressure system begins to strengthen during the second half of the week, which will decrease the chance for thunderstorms. Heat and humidity are expected to be in full force, once again, this weekend. Highs will be in the low to mid-90s with heat index values back into the triple digits.
