This weekend temperatures will continue to heat up with Sunday being our warmest day. Highs in the 90s with feel-like temperatures in the low 100s. There will be plenty of sunshine and dry weather for both days. During the afternoon/early evening pop up showers/storms will be possible, especially with abundant moisture mixed with daytime heating. After sunset, any storms will fizzle out.
Sunday evening a cold front will begin to approach from the NW increasing storm chances. Storms are likely throughout the day on Monday. Slightly cooler and drier air will follow the front bringing more seasonable temperatures the majority of the week.
