Showers and storms today

Day Planner - 4 Part VerticalNOONMIKE

A slow-moving cold front will continue to slide southeast today bringing the Tri-States scattered showers and storms. Occasional downpours and lighting will likely accompany storms. I think the front will be farther to our southeast by this afternoon, which will help keep severe weather out of the area. Cloud cover and rain will help keep high temperatures near 83. Rain will begin to wrap up and clear out by the 5 pm drive time. Overnight lows near 64.

A high-pressure system will move in behind the front granting us sunshine and fairly seasonably temperatures. Highs will be the mid-80s.

Wednesday evening through Thursday we will be watching for a storm system approaching from the southwest. A high-pressure system moving in from the north may help push the storm system south and east of us for Friday and the weekend.
