Below-average temperatures stick around

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Happy Friday! Rain showers are staying persistent south of Quincy keeping temperatures much cooler. Highs will range from the low 70s to upper 70s. The rest of the day and evening will be mostly cloudy with a low near 63.

Saturday, for the most part, will be rain-free with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Highs in the low 80s. A storm system moving NE from the south may clip our far eastern counties Sunday morning, but the main event should be farther east. Then a cold front approaching from the NW may bring a few showers and possible storms later in the day.

Looking ahead to next week high temperatures will be mild and in the upper 70s. The average high temperature for the start of August is 85.
