Our Monday is feeling more like fall than summer, with cooler temperatures and winds out of the north on about 5-10 mph. Highs are only expected in the low to mid 70s. Much of the day will be mostly cloudy. A weak shortwave is over Iowa, that shortwave will drop down through the Tri-States later on Monday. While numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible along I-70 near St. Louis and further south, we could have a few spotty rain showers this afternoon and early evening. But once we get closer to evening and we lose our daytime heating, any showers that develop will die off. The rest of the night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.
Tuesday morning will be cool, with temperatures in the upper 50s. We'll be mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy later in the afternoon. Highs will again be in the mid 70s. Lows later Tuesday night will be in the upper 50s again.
