LA HARPE, Ill. (WGEM) — Due to the cancellation of the La Harpe Car Show, The Car Guys of Southeast Iowa held an Appreciation Cruise on Saturday to raise money for the Great River Honor Flight (GRHF).

The cruise went through La Harpe and stoped at the veterans memorial where vets and helpers stood with a donation bucket for the GRHF.

The Appreciation Cruise raised $1,000 in total for the GRHF.

Although all honor flights have been cancelled for 2020, officials said they want to get them going again as soon as possible in 2021.
