BLESSING HOSPITAL RECONIGNIZED 6VO

Blessing Hospital has been recognized as a High Performing Hospital by the U.S. News & World Report this year.

Blessing Health System CEO and President Maureen Kahn said this award demonstrates their quality of care in three categories: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, heart failure, and colon cancer surgery.

Kahn said being recognized for the second year in a row is no easy task, but the consistency of their doctors and nurses is what it takes.

"I am proud for the community because this is for them. It gives them the opportunity to know when they choose to get care, they know that somebody else is looking at us and looking at the outcomes we deliver," Kahn said.

Kahn said the recognition is nice to honor their hard work being put in, but even without it, their teams would still do the work if no one was watching.
