JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (WGEM) — The Associated Press has projected that Gov. Mike Parson will be chosen as the Republican nominee for Missouri Governor.
Parson will face off against the Democratic nominee Nicole Galloway in the November 3rd General Election.
Gov. Parson took office on June 1, 2018, after the resignation of Eric Greitens.
Parson is a former law enforcement officer and is currently the 57th governor of Missouri.
Prior to taking over as governor, Parson had been Missouri’s lieutenant governor.
