Early Wednesday morning temperatures were pretty cool, in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Daytime highs will still be below average and splendid in the mid 70s. We will have clear skies and light winds as a high pressure system sits near by. However, later in the afternoon we'll become partly cloudy. By Wednesday night, we'll continue to be partly cloudy. Lows will be cool again, in the upper 50s.
For early Thursday morning, I can't rule out some patchy fog again. It will be a tad warmer as our winds will come out of the south, with highs in the upper 70s. Late Thursday night, thunderstorms are expected to develop over western Missouri. These storms may move into central Missouri by early Friday morning, but those will be weakening and dying off.
Highs will finally climb back into the 80s starting Friday.
