U.S. Senate Debate between Joni Ernst and Theresa Greenfield.

QUINCY (WGEM) — On October 15, Republican Joni Ernst, and Democratic nominee Theresa Greenfield faced each other and answered questions that impact voters across Iowa.

The U.S. Senate debate was hosted by Quincy Media, Inc. Iowa stations; KWWL and KTIV and aired on WGEM Tri-State’s CW, Channel 10.2.

The candidates were asked about pressing issues involving the economy and the response to COVID-19.  Candidates had 60 seconds to answer question from moderators.  If a candidate was mentioned by her opponent, they received 30 seconds to respond.  They also had a chance to ask each other a question and respond to political advertising from their opponents.
