Two Quincy men arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder

QUINCY (WGEM) — Two Quincy men have been arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder in a shooting that happened last month.

Adams County Sheriff Brian VonderHaar reported that Stefan Crider III, 29 and Donte Clausell, 32, both of Quincy were taken into custody on Thursday following a month-long investigation of a shooting that occurred in early July on Highway 57 in rural Adams County. 

VonderHaar stated both subjects have been lodged in the Adams County Jail with a $500,000 bond for Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. 

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the arrest by the United States Marshals-Violent Fugitive Task Force, and the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
