Friday is going to be a nice way to kick off the weekend. Southerly winds will push warmer temperatures and higher humidity into the Tri-States. So our highs will climb into the low 80s with our dew points climbing into the mid 60s. That means it will feel a little more humid than we have been lately. Partly cloudy skies are expected through this evening. Those partly cloud skies will continue into Friday night, with lows in the upper 60s.
Early Saturday morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll through the area. Most of the rain should fall in Missouri, but I can't rule out a few showers/thunderstorms making it into Iowa and Illinois. The rain should clear the entire area by noon/1pm. The rest of the day will be dry, with highs in the mid 80s. However, due to the humidity it will feel like it's in the mid 90s.
