Three girls are Making a Difference in honor of their mother.

Hazel, Addie, and Aubrey Hess opened a lemonade stand this summer to raise money for Transitions School in Quincy.

They did it in memory of their mother Kasey Hess, who worked at transitions.

Together they raised over $16-hundred dollars.

"One of the things we talked about with the girls to purchase is we're going to get some picnic tables," said Transitions School Principal Kelle Schlueter.

"Our students will be able to go outside and maybe social distance and eat lunch and do some of their therapies and activities outside."
