Lewis Co. schools may make changes after additional positive COVID-19 test

Lewis County School District officials say they may make some changes to the way they are teaching students after an additional positive COVID-19 test from Highland High School.

In a Facebook post on Monday, officials say they learned an additional Highland High School student tested positive for COVID-19 today. As a result, 32 other student are now under a precautionary quarantine.

The post then says, "It appears that we may be headed for a change in the instructional delivery method."

Officials do say they are trying do to what they can to not have to shut down the school, athletics, and activities, but they need help from students, staff, parents, and guardians. They also remind parents and guardians to keep sick students home.
