We had another beautiful weekend weather-wise and that beautiful weather will just continue into Monday. High pressure will continue to influence our weather conditions, with hardly a cloud to be found. This vast area of high pressure is actually sitting over New England, but extends well southwestward into our neck of the woods. Winds will be more out of the southeast and this will allow temperatures to be a little warmer Monday, in the mid to upper 70s. We will still have a little smoke aloft, so the skies will still look a little milky from time to time. Monday night will initially start off mostly clear but then we'll become partly cloudy. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s.
By Tuesday, the high pressure system will weaken it's impact on us here in the Tri-States. Down by the Gulf of Mexico, Tropical Storm Beta is expected to make landfall in Texas during the early morning hours as a tropical storm. Will Beta impact us? The answer is yes. Beta will throw/push more moisture into the Tri-States which will give us a mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday. By Wednesday, we'll be mostly cloudy. However, Beta will not give us any rain. The cloud cover will help to keep temperatures down some though. Tuesday's high will be in the mid 70s, Wednesday's highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
