QUINCY (WGEM) -- The Quincy Riverfront Master Plan project continues as the community provided their input with the survey.

Organizers released the survey to the community on September 2nd, and it already has over 1200 responses. This survey is for the community to give their input and suggestions on the master plan.

“We just want a lot of input from the public. so as much as people can encourage their friends and neighbors. no matter what you think of the riverfront right now. what you think it could be. we sure think there are great things to come to Quincy, and Adams County, and this riverfront," said Maggie Strong, with the Riverfront Master Committee.

this is a plan for the community, but it also has to be by the community. so the by-in the input that we get from the community right now. is critical to the long term success of this plan, and the project as a whole," said Maggie Strong, with the Riverfront Master Committee.

The survey will close on Friday, so organizers say it's crucial for the community to complete them to move forward with planning.
