COVID-19 exposure leads to bus driver shortage at CUSD#4

In the Mendon Unity school district, bus #12 will not run on Friday.

In a Facebook post, CUSD#4 Superintendent Scott Riddle says because of COVID-19 exposure, there are not enough school bus drivers to cover all the school bus routes.

Riddle says, if your child takes bus #12, they need to find a ride to school or plan to participate in remote learning tomorrow. If they can't do either, Riddle says they will have an excused absence and will be allowed to make up their work.

He also adds, one elementary school student has tested positive for COVID-19, and some high school students have been exposed to a positive case.

Those considered a close contact in both of these situations have been notified.
