QUINCY (WGEM) -- The Adams County Public Health Department reported 31 people hospitalized Monday due to COVID-19. That number is up from 19 just one week ago. Of those 31, four were in the Intensive Care Unit.
Health officials also reported a seven-day positivity rate of 9.57%, the highest it has been to date.
24 new test-positive cases of COVID-19 were also reported Monday:
- 3 males between 0 and 9 years old
- 4 females between 10 and 19 years old
- 2 males in their 20s
- 2 males in their 30s
- 2 males in their 40s
- 2 females in their 40s
- 1 male in his 50s
- 2 males in their 60s
- 2 females in their 60s
- 2 females in their 70s
- 1 male in his 80s
- 1 females in her 90s
Heath officials reported at total of 1,405 test-positive COVID-19 cases in Adams County, with 131 of those listed as active.
There have been 11 COIVD-19 related deaths in Adams County, according to health officials.
