A downtown Hannibal business owner says he's actually expanding services as his restaurant comes up on its first anniversary.

Due Amici Pizzeria owner Brian Chaplin said it was a tough first year with the coronavirus.

He said that's not stopping him from adding deli services and bakery items to the menu for the second year, as he says business has been good.

"We've tried to put everything out there we can, and there were times it was slow, but we made it work, we've been pretty fortunate," said Chaplin, "pretty blessed to have such great business in downtown Hannibal."

Chaplin credits delivery and pickup for the great business during the pandemic.
