Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The Canton Lady Tigers had a big night at the dish as they pounded out 24 runs in just 4 innings against the Lady Bulldogs of Louisiana in route to a shutout victory. CHS pitcher Kenzie Guilfoyle gets credit for a perfect game in the circle while teammate Abby Jarvis belted a 2-Run home run against LHS. The Lady Tigers will open district tournament play on Thursday.

In "The Hawkeye State" earlier this evening, Holy Trinity Catholic posted a 3 set victory, on the road, against Danville. The Lady Crusaders are now (22-8) on the season. HTC will now prepare to host the Lady Hawks of Central Lee on Tuesday in Fort Madison.

Another former Major League Baseball legend has passed away. Hall of Fame infielder Joe Morgan died Sunday at his home in California. We'll have details on the Gold Glove second baseman who was a vital part of the "Big Red Machine" in Cincinnati during the 1970's.
