CANTON, Mo. (WGEM) -- According to court documents filed in Lewis County Missouri in May, Robert Dillon III is facing charges of stealing by deceit in relation to the theft of money from six customers he falsely represented.
According to the document, Dillon took at least $750 each from six victims claiming it would be used towards policies with American Family Insurance.
The charges state that Dillon knowingly miss guided the victims with false representation of applying funds to their insurance policy.
The document shows Dillon took the money from the six victims in the summer and early fall of 2017.
Stealing by deceit is a class D felony in the state of Missouri and could mean seven years jail time for each count brought against Dillon if found guilty.
