Winds will pick up across the Tri-State area through the day Saturday with gusts approaching 45mph. For this reason, a Wind Advisory has been issued from 11AM through 6PM. In addition to the Wind Advisory, a Fire Weather Warning has been issued for the same time period.
The windy conditions along with the dry ground means that it will be easy for fires to spread. Limit all outdoor burning activities during the day and take inside anything that could easily blow away.
As we head into Sunday the temperatures will drop through the day and should stay in the 40's through the afternoon. There will be a chance for some isolated showers Sunday, and these rain chances remain with us as we start the work week.
