A winter storm is headed for the Tri-States

We have been tracking a winter storm that is bringing its full arsenal of wintry weather. It is looking more likely you will have slick road from freezing rain and accumulating snow. The track of this storm is a bit uncertain at this time. If it rides just 70 miles north of current forecasts we will see less of an impact with more rain and sleet. If it slides just south you will have a pretty good shot of snow accumulation greater than 3 inches. We will have to wait and see just where this track decides to go. This is your early notice to be prepared for slick roads and possibly another dose of damaging freezing rain. Saturday will be dry so use that day to get prepared by making sure you have what you need to lessen the impacts of snow and ice. Do your running around on Saturday and limit your travel Sunday and Monday while road crews get your roads salted and cleared.
