Kentucky man issued DUI after hitting a Quincy Police car

QUINCY (WGEM) -- A Louisville, Kentucky, man was issued a DUI Thursday after hitting a Quincy Police car, according to a Quincy Police Crash Report.

According to the report Brandon Gravatte of Louisville, was traveling the wrong way on North 4th Street, a one-way street, when he passed a Quincy Police officer who was at the intersection of North 4th Street and Vermont.

The report states the officer turned on his lights and pursued Gravatte who did not stop, but swerved and sideswiped the police car.

The Quincy Police reported they later located Gravatte in the 300 block of Maiden Lane in Quincy.

Police records show Gravatte was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Wrong Way on a One Way, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Operate Uninsured Vehicle, and Resisting a Peace Officer.
