QUINCY (WGEM) -- Nursing home residents and staff at St. Vincent's nursing and retirement campus in Quincy received their second round of COVID-19 vaccinations today.

Administrator Danielle Boeding said about 50% of their staff and 90% of their residents received the Pfizer vaccine. That's about 49 staff and 46 residents.

Boeding said she expects more will follow suit.

"Things are going well in our second round of vaccines, we have some people who did not get it the first time are getting it the second time. We have people who we've discharged who have come back and it's been a very smooth process working with CVS," Boeding said.

Meanwhile, Sunset Home administrators said they received their first doses on the 5th and will administer the second round of vaccinations tomorrow.

Then, Good Samaritan administrators said they got their first doses on the 16th and expect the second dose some time in February.
