MACOMB (WGEM) -- The COVID-19 vaccine clinic in McDonough County will set to relocate on Monday to the McDonough District Hospital.
McDonough County Health Department Public Information Officer Raeva Farris said the health department vaccine clinic now is too small of a space but the move to the hospital will offer them more space to administer the vaccine hopefully speed up their roll-out.
"That will be in MDH health services building one, "she said. "Moving our clinic there will allow more space for residents to get vaccinated."
Farris said they are also launching a call center on Monday for people to ask COVID-19 specific questions.
She said frontline essential workers and people 65-years and older can can book an appointment for vaccinations through the call center.
The toll-free number for the COVID vaccine Call Center is 833-665-4VAX(829)
The hours of operation are Monday-Friday: 10am-6pm.
