QUINCY (WGEM) -- If you know someone that qualifies for the vaccine in Adams County but is having trouble registering, there is a way to get help.

Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center Information and Assistance Manager, Gail Murry says they're helping seniors who do not know how to register over the phone or do not have computer and email access to complete online registrations.

"We have over the phone helped those folks by doing the registration. While we have a person on the phone, we will do the registration, print out the event ticket and then have that available for them to come pick up," Murry.

But Murry said the best thing to do is check on your elderly family members and neighbors, so you can help them.

"Folks who don't have an email address are left out of the loop, because you have to put one in. So we've been using our work emails to do this and we've printed out the event ticket," Murry said. "Where if you have a relative do it or something like that, they're right there they can use their emails."

She said they are closed for in-person services, but can assist over the phone.
