Man arrested, found naked in Hannibal restaurant

HANNIBAL (WGEM) -- A Hannibal man has been arrested after police said he broke into a Hannibal restaurant and caused extensive damage inside.

Lt. J.M. Grote reported that Brian Griggs, 34, was arrested for Burglary after employees found him shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday lying naked under insulation inside the Becky Thatcher Restaurant at 213 N 3rd St.

Grote said Griggs had forced entry into the business and caused extensive damage while inside.

Grote added that Griggs was taken into custody without incident.
