Portion of Missouri Route 156 back open after grain truck crash

HANNIBAL (WGEM) -- A semi hauling grain overturned Monday afternoon and blocked Missouri Route 156, just west of Missouri Route 6, near Ewing, Missouri, officials said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the single-vehicle crash happened around 4 p.m.

According to MoDOT, the section of road was back open just before 8:30 p.m.

Troopers said the crash was not weather-related and no injuries were reported.

MoDOT officials said the road was closed and traffic was detoured around city streets while the crash was cleaned up and the truck was removed.
