QUINCY (WGEM) -- Quincy Medical Group (QMG) announced plans for a new clinic in Mt. Sterling, Illinois, on Monday.
QMG officials stated construction is slated to begin soon on the new building at 216 Pittsfield Rd. in Mt. Sterling.
During construction, the QMG Mt. Sterling Clinic will relocate to a temporary location.
Officials stated beginning on March 1, patients will be seen at 109 Buckhorn Rd. in Mt. Sterling, which is the former location of the DOT John Wood Community College (JWCC) Learning Center.
The phone number, hours, and services will remain the same.

QMG Family Practice Physician Dr. Jennifer Schroeder, added, “QMG is honored to have served patients in Mt. Sterling for 25 years. In that time, our services and care team have grown. According to QMG the Mt. Sterling Clinic offers primary care for all ages as well as ancillary and specialty services including behavioral health, cardiology, laboratory, nutrition services, physical therapy, and podiatry.
