Quincy partisans to choose mayoral candidates

QUINCY (WGEM) -- Quincy Democrats and Republicans will choose their candidates for mayor in Tuesday's Consolidated Primary Election.

Quincy Democrats will choose between former journalist and Quincy University instructor Nora Baldner and Quincy High School student Brennan Hills.

On the Republican ticket is Quincy Public Schools Board member Mike Troup and former Quincy alderman Paul Havermale.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Voters can find their polling place here.

The winners of Tuesday's Primary Election will face each other in the General Election on April 6.

Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore, announced on September 24, 2020, that he would not be seeking reelection in April.
