There is a quasi-stationary front locked to our south and that has most of the energy and mid level flow for any rain development bottled up. We do see some potential for rain a couple of times between now and through the weekend. But even with those couple of shots we look relatively dry. The ground is pretty saturated for most of the Tri-States for now. The main focus of the forecast is a warming trend setting up Friday and Saturday. High pressure will move to the east and that will allow southerly wind to kick in. The snow that was on the ground in Missouri has all but melted away and is not there inhibiting the warm-up. So enjoy your Saturday would be my advice. Meteorological spring begins March 1st. But the vernal equinox is just 22 days away.
