Warm start to spring gets put on hold

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Kind of a mixed bag of weather over the next five days. Temperatures will warm Friday with a breezy southerly wind flow before another round of rain comes through on Saturday. Sunday sunshine and warm temperatures will return to the Tri-States for the end of the weekend and start of the work week. The warmer air won't last for long.
After a warm start to spring, cooler weather will make a return next week with temperatures running near normal or 5 degrees below normal for this time of year. The tree blossoms are a little ahead of schedule with dogwood trees already starting to pop out. Normally the dogwoods do not make their colorful appearance until the last week of April or first week of May. Let's hope the cooler temps gives the blooms a little longer life.
