The wild weather on Saturday featured wet, windy and not warm conditions. Temperatures struggled to get into the 50's for much of the day with some areas seeing one to three inches of rain. Due to those heavy rains, flood warnings have been issued for several rivers across the Tri-States. You can find a list of some of those warnings here.
Conditions were also gusty Saturday afternoon, with a wind gust of 40mph clocked at the airport in Quincy. Gusty winds will stick around into the day on Sunday, with gusts up to 30mph.
There may be some isolated showers in the early morning, but skies should gradually clear through the afternoon hours. Areas that get into the sunshine should reach into the mid to upper 60's for high temperatures.
The warmer temperatures will not last long though. Another cool down is in store for the middle of the week. For more details, make sure to tune in Sunday night on WGEM News at 10.
