You may remember a story we brought you some months ago about a Quincy native inventing a PPE (personal protective equipment) sterilizer.

On Friday, J.P. Bonansinga and his team of scientists officially launched the product and it's available to the community.

This sterilizer's target group of consumers goes from anyone in the medical field, to restaurants, to any type of personal care business.

"Very very useful for inactivating or out right killing microorganisms", says J.P. Bonansinga, the inventor of the Rushlight PPE Sterilizer.

"We're ready to take orders, so were available. We want to get into the retail markets with high-touch items. We want to get into hospitals, we want to get into laboratory, anything that needs very fast sterilization", says Chief Operations Officer Ryan Pyffer.
