Dot Foods holds job fair in Hannibal

HANNIBAL, MO (WGEM) -- Dot Foods, Inc said it's gearing up for a busy year and the company is hiring for new positions in its distribution center in Mt. Sterling, Ill., to meet increased demand.

Dot is actively hiring for at least 100 new warehouse positions. 

To attract the best candidates, Dot has raised warehouse wages and successful applicants could earn starting pay up to $22.35 per hour.

There are also openings for new drivers to the, Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI) fleet, the affiliate trucking company of Dot Foods. DTI’s fleet includes the best equipment and technology available.

“Many people are out of work, due to the pandemic,” said John Bordewick, general manager of the Illinois Warehouses. “We are fortunate to see our business growing, allowing us to also grow our workforce this year. We have careers available in our warehouse and for truck drivers, both with some of the top wages in the region.”
