QUINCY (WGEM) -- A Pike County based real estate and auction company expanded their reach to Quincy.
PCRE Real Estate and Auction cut the ribbon today at their new location at the old GPS Ministries building on 24th street.
Owner and managing broker Chris Nichols said the company specializes in residential, commercial, hunting and farmland properties plus auctions for all sorts of things like land, farm machinery, and guns.
"We felt like it was a really good opportunity to bring some of our services to Quincy, particularly the auction business and we do specialize a lot in farmland and hunting properties and there's a lot of that in Adams County and we hope to be able to reach that market," Nichols said.
Broker Terri Robbins said they started out in Pike County 15 years ago, branched off to Calhoun County four to five years ago and are now in Quincy.
"What better place to branch out into the Quincy community and to share what we have with those looking for a home or even if they have an estate that they'd like to talk about," Robbins said.
Nichols said they're looking for anyone who has real estate experience, who is in the process of getting licensed, or who is new and doesn't have much experience.
