Saturday is not expected to be a complete washout in any one place in the Tri-States, there will be episodes of showers that traverse your neck of the woods. Periods of showers and thunderstorms look likely across much of the area Sunday and Sunday night. We will see measurable rainfall and most places should see between a half inch and one inch over the weekend. The heavy rainfall stays well south of the Tri-States down around the Ozarks where they could see 2 to 3 inches of rain. We really have spent much of our time tracking the rain potential as of late. But temperatures will also be on a slow, steady climb to near and eventually above normal through next week. A noticeable increase in humidity will accompany these rising temperatures as well. This will likely be the first work out for your air conditioner this spring.
