QUINCY (WGEM) -- The Adam's County Health Department is making its rounds through Adams County schools with vaccine clinics targeting kids 12-and-up.
On Thursday, the health department visited Quincy Notre Dame, as they had more 100 people from the community visit the school to receive their vaccinations.
"It's time to go ahead and make that push over and get vaccinated and get the younger people vaccinated too," said Adams County Health Department Administrator Jerrod Welch.
"So the first one is obvious, we see more disease in younger people right now, Welch added. "That's one good way to make sure that your children aren't ill. That we finish school strong."
Welch also says these clinics are not limited to students, anyone ages 12 and up can go.
