Big Ten Conference Baseball: 7 Iowa Hawkeyes Players Taking Part In Summer League Action On The Diamond In The Prospect And Various Other Leagues Across The Country

 Twenty University of Iowa baseball players will compete in eight baseball leagues across the country during the summer of 2021.

Three Hawkeyes – Ben Norman, Trenton Wallace, and Cam Baumann – will play in the MLB Draft League, while rising sophomore Peyton Williams will compete in the prestigious Cape Cod League.

Iowa will also have seven players playing in the Prospect League, four in the Northwoods League, two in the newly-formed Appalachian League, and one in the Coastal Plans, Midwest Summer, and Iowa Valley Leagues.

MLB Draft League: Cam Baumann (West Virginia Black Bears), Ben Norman (Trenton Thunder), Trenton Wallace (Trenton Thunder)

Cape Cod League: Peyton Williams (Wareham Gatemen)

Appalachian League: Tyson James (Bluefield Ridge Runners), Michael Seegers (Bluefield Ridge Runners)

Northwoods League: Duncan Davitt (Waterloo Bucks), Jacob Henderson (Lakeshore Chinooks), Jack Radford (Waterloo Bucks), Brendan Sher (Lakeshore Chinooks)

Prospect League: Brayden Frazier (Clinton LumberKings), Ty Langenberg (Alton River Dragons), Sam Link (Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp), Anthony Mangano (Clinton LumberKings), Brett McCleary (Clinton LumberKings), Andy Nelson (Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp), Alec Nigut (Alton River Dragons)

Coastal Plains: Keaton Anthony (Macon)

Midwest Summer: Jack Guzek (NWI Oilmen)

Iowa Valley League: DJ Heck (Walford)
