Quincy man pleads not guilty to child pornography charges

QUINCY (WGEM) -- Parker Arrowsmith who is accused of distribution of child pornography pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, according to court documents.

Arrowsmith will now appear before a jury on September 13 at 9 a.m. with a pre-trial hearing set for September 3 at 3:30 p.m.

Court documents show that Arrowsmith was charged in January with four counts of Child Pornography for sharing lewd images of a child on Snapchat.

Court documents show that Arrowsmith is also charged with two counts of Sex Offender Registration Act Violation for failure to report his internet identity.

The documents explain that Arrowsmith failed to alert the Quincy Chief of Police of his Snapchat account within three days of its creation.

Arrowsmith is a former employee of WGEM's production department but was not employed by WGEM News.
