Another hot and humid day is expected on this Thursday. With a warmer start to the day and more sunshine expected it will be hotter than the previous days. Some location will top out in the upper 80s but several locations should hit 90 for the first time this year. The day started off with lots of sunshine but now some cumulus clouds have started to develop and this will turn the skies to partly cloudy. The question for the day though will be, can any isolated showers or thunderstorms develop. It's possible, we have the ingredients needed for pop-up thunderstorms but the likelihood of that on this Thursday is very low. By Thursday night, we'll be mostly clear with warm lows in the 70s.
Friday morning we'll wake up to some sunshine again, with possibly a few near by clouds. It's going to be hot again, with highs in the low 90s. With the humidity though, it's going to feel like it's in the mid 90s. Through the morning and afternoon, a cold front will be advancing from the northwest. It looks to produce an impressive line of thunderstorms, but right now it looks like we'll miss out on those for the most part. That's because as it gets closer to the Tri-States, it should drive south and move through locations such as Kansas City.
