The 48th Annual Pepsi Little People's Golf Championships is now underway "The Gem City." Action started at 6:30 a.m. as scheduled at the Knights of Columbus Golf Course. Several Tri-State golfers are competing in this years field that will also be on the fairways at the Westview Golf Course during the annual 2-day event. At Hannibal High School this afternoon, one of the Tri-State's top prep soccer standouts signed a National Letter of Intent. Former Lady Pirate team captain Baylee Zeiger inked her NLI inside the lobby of the Korf Gymnasium justa after 2:00 p.m. with her proud family looking on. Baylee, who scored 5 goals last season with HHS, is focused on joining the nursing program at JWCC as she continues to elevate her game on the pitch as a member of the Lady Blazers soccer program in the collegiate ranks. On the Prospect League diamond this evening, the Quincy Gems will return to action at QU Stadium.
