Third arrest made in February Lee County shots fired incident

LEE COUNTY, Iowa (WGEM) - A Burlington, Iowa, man surrendered himself to the Lee County Sheriff's Office Wednesday night on a warrant for a shots fired incident in Fort Madison on Feb. 7.

Roy Michael Garza Jr. faces an Attempt to Commit Murder charge.

The arrest comes after a shooting in Fort Madison's 800 Block of Avenue G.

Investigators said while no one was hurt during the incident, several businesses were damage.

They said they made two other arrests in connection to the incident.

One man, Tommy Dwayne Ross, was arrested for Reckless Use of a Firearm, Carrying Weapons, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

The other, Darius Lee Porter, was arrested for Attempt to Commit Murder.

Garza is being held at Lee County Correctional Center on a $200,000 bond.
