ADAMS COUNTY (WGEM) -- The Adams County Health Department has been notified of a public exposure to COVID-19 at a conference hosted by the Crossing Church on June 18th and 19th.
The conference was held in Adams County.
In accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health’s guidance, the Adams County Health Department requires anyone who attended this conference to quarantine for 10 days following the last exposure. They said the quarantine started on June 20th; people are released from quarantine on the morning of June 30th if they do not have symptoms.
Individuals who have been vaccinated are not required to quarantine.
This is the second event in connection with The Crossing Church in which a COVID-19 exposure warning has been issued.
Earlier this week, fifty people tested positive for COVID-19 after attending The Crossing Camp in Schuyler County June 13th-17th.
If anyone comes down with COVID-19 like symptoms, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, chills, body aches, fatigue, change in taste or smell, stomach issues or sore throat, the health department said to get tested immediately.
