The Culver-Stockton football program is ready to move on from 2020. When they finished 1-3 (despite a nine-game schedule), including a three-game losing streak to end the season along with many postponements due to players quarantining during COVID-19. A flurry of players are returning, a brand new turf is being put in, and they had a successful football camp over the weekend on campus. W-G-E-M Sports spoke to Wildcats football coach Tom Salley who went outside the box on near countrywide recruiting.

The Wildcats men's volleyball program is ready to return to success after hiring Devin Walker. Walker is coming off a successful one-year stint as women's volleyball coach at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. He coached four players who made All-Conference and gave them one of their best seasons yet. In the last three seasons, the men's volleyball team has finished 10-50. W-G-E-M Sports caught up with Walker who believes working together with the women's volleyball program will lead to winning in 2022.

The Bloodhounds of Fort Madison are preparing for their first-round home game vs Mount Pleasant on Friday. The team finished 24-8 after splitting their regular-season doubleheader with Muscatine. W-G-E-M Sports spent a few minutes with head baseball coach Ron Walker who knows in order to win, everyone must step up their game.
