The Hannibal Football program is on the rise in the "Show Me State!" After a strong post-season run in 2020, the Pirates are ready to soar to new heights in 2021 with an experienced offensive line returning. The squad also sport explosive skill position players that have the ability to score from anywhere on the field.

Overall, the team speed on this years roster at HHS is simply "off the charts" and the Pirates coaching staff is hoping that with a strong O-Line leading the way, the "Red and Black" are indeed ready to contend for a state championship. We'll head to "America's Hometown" and check in with first year head coach Jeff Gschwender for more insight.

The QU Football Camp will offer seven local high school football teams from across the Tri-States (and beyond) an opportunity to scrimmage against other prep squads this evening at QU Stadium.

WGEM's Brendan Reidy will check in with Quincy University Hawks head football coach Gary Bass for more details.

The Quincy Gems are back in action on the Prospect League diamond this evening. The Gems are playing host to the Hoots from O'Fallon in a doubleheader showdown that started at 5:30 p.m. We'll have an update from QU Stadium.
