Man arrested in Hannibal shooting case

HANNIBAL (WGEM) -- Hannibal Police said Monday that they had arrested a man they believe was involved in a shooting in the 800 block of Hazel Street.

Hannibal Police said 24-year-old Adrian Miller was arrested on Friday in connection with the shooting that injured a man.

Police said the arrest came after officers responded to the 1100 block of Valley St. for a report of a stolen vehicle.

Police said the vehicle crashed in Ralls County and the driver left the scene.

Ralls County deputies later located Miller who matched the description of the person who stole the vehicle.

Police reported that Miller was in possession of a stolen firearm and upon further investigation, it was determined he was involved in the shooting Thursday.

Police said Miller was charged with First Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of A Weapon, Stealing a Motor Vehicle, and Frist Degree Burglary. His bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only.
